You participate as a guest of Alex in a smaller group trip. You create the “Group” yourself. Be active with or without guide. Tour Leader daily.
We plan activities daily, reserve tables at chosen restaurants and book your accommodation. On certain destinations you choose your selected hotel / guesthouse yourself before your departure.
Price Categories:
1. Deluxe. Full Board - All Inclusive. Everything included in the destination.
Breakfast.
Two or Three-Course Menu including drink/s, for example two or three glasses of wine / two beers / two small bottles of water etc.
Picnic (Cold meats with salad, cheese & bread as well as a sweet) including drinks.
Large room for one or two persons with balcony or view.
(Special diets require a doctor’s medical confirmation. Alternative meals are available.)
2. Budget - Half Board

Picnic not included (Shops are available day one, and during the travel, for purchase of picnic groceries).

Group size:
The group size will consist of minimum of 7 and a maximum of 13-15 participants. Should there be less than the minimum, Slow Travel Sweden will notify you no later than four month prior to departure.

Choice of cycle:
Lapland: E-cycle alternatively MTB Touring Cycle. Including 2 cycle bags, front basket and MIPS helmet.

GoreTex Outer garments which protect you from hail / rain
Cap or hat. Often strong wind and sun in the mountains.
Long thin scarf. Often strong wind in central and Northern Sweden.
Woolen socks. They absorb sweat the best.
Thin woolen gloves. Can be chilly in the evenings.
Mosquito repellent. Is available at the destination.
General tips for activities in the Nordic wilderness:
By foot or cycling - half-high cut sturdy trekking boot with a rigid outer sole.
Ice and Snow activity - shoes and body equipment is included for the Snow Scooter drive and dog sled trip.

Prices apply up to and including 30st October 2023. Price adjustments in Norway and Sweden depend on the Norwegian and Swedish kronor exchange rate as well as the Euro’s rate in Finland.
